The sixth Personality Development Class (PDC) of the year was conducted at the Alagappa University Auditorium, Karaikudi, on 9th October 2025. The session was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ravi. Dr. Mrs. Padmapriya, Special Officer of Alagappa University, made special arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the programme. A total of 230 students from Alagappa Model Higher Secondary School participated in the session. Pre- and post-session feedback was collected from all the students.
The seventh and final PDC of the year was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Mamandur, in Tiruvannamalai District, on 19th October 2025. 130 students from the 12th standard attended the session. This group of students differed significantly from those in previous PDCs. The sessions were facilitated by Guna and Sudha.
During the year, Smile conducted seven PDCs, reaching approximately 900 students. Smile plans to facilitate PDC sessions in 14 additional schools by August 2026.
The Department of Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, invited partner organizations to a Career Guidance Workshop held on 21st November 2025. Vasu and Ebe represented Smile Welfare Foundation at the workshop, which was attended by NGOs from across the state. Ebe presented Smile’s PDC and Sadhana initiatives and encouraged fellow organizations to support the cause.
Vasu had the opportunity to introduce the Sadhana Scheme at Raphael, Mylapore, and Rani Meyyammai School, Santhome, Chennai, on 14th November 2025. The meeting was organized in collaboration with Celebrating Life NGO, where Bama serves as a volunteer.
